Short terms for Landing page/Facebook

GB residents aged 18+ only. Promotion opens 13/05/2019 and runs until 23/06/2019.

Terms and Conditions (of which instruction form part) and following General terms:

Promoter: Day-Today (address respective to individual store owners).

Eligibility:

  1. Prize draw entries are open to residents of Scotland, aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their families of the Promoter, it’s agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion. This is applicable at the time of the draw.

  1. Winners will be entitled to a TWO tickets to Oktoberfest, 2 return flights from any UK-mainland airport and 2 nights accommodation sponsored by Lowenbrau.
  2. Winner will be picked at Random.

Open to residents of Scotland only.

One Competition entry per person.

Campaign starts 13 th May 2019.

Campaign ends 2 nd June 2019.

If it is agreed that a prize is being shipped to a competition winner, please allow 28 days for delivery.

If it is agreed that a prize is being collected from store, please allow 28 days for the Day-Today Rep to arrange collection.

If for any reason, the winning prize is not available, we will in that instance substitute for a similar product.

We reserve the right to withdraw any promotion.
Each individual who enters a competition will have their name put into a randomising name generator, which will randomly choose a winner - at which point the winner will be announced on our Facebook page - then a private message will be sent to the winner with the collection/delivery details.

  1. The promotion starts on 13 May 2019 and runs until 02 June 2019.

How to enter:

By scanning a QR code in store; Texting a keyword; And clicking on a link via the MyLocalDayToday Facebook page.

  1. Prizes:

TWO tickets to Oktoberfest, 2 return flights from any UK-mainland airport and 2 nights accommodation sponsored by Lowenbrau.

Winner Selection and Notification:

  1. All prize draw winners will be chosen at random in front of an independent adjudicator. Prize winners will be notified by e-mail or phone within 3 working days of the draw on 7 th June 2019. In the event the claim for a prize is not received by the Promoter within 28 days of such notification or the prize is otherwise declined, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.

General:

  1. Incomplete registrations, i.e. where the key fob has been registered but the membership registration landing page has not been submitted, will not be accepted. No responsibility can be taken for entries, which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.

  1. For the full name and county of the prize winners please send a S.A.E. to United Wholesale (Scotland),110 Easter Queenslie Road, Glasgow, G33 4UL or after 10 th February 2019. This information will be available for a period of 3 months.

  1. The names of all prize winners may be used in publicity materials. Winners may be required to participate in publicity photography and must be willing to do so with no further recompense.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or modify these terms and conditions in its absolute discretion at any time due to wholly exceptional circumstance outside its control and only where circumstances make this unavoidable but will use all endeavours to minimise the effect to the consumer in order to avoid disappointment.

  1. Prize must be taken as stated and there are no alternatives in either cash or kind in whole or in part. Winners are not allowed to transfer the right to take up the prize to anyone else.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

  1. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on Scottish law and the Courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction.
